History Club of Los Gatos Bay Area Wedding Site

Located in a woodsy residential neighborhood, the Los Gatos History Club occupies a modest, yet charming, ranch-style building whose simple lines and neutral taupe exterior give it the kind of unobtrusive elegance often found in Japanese architecture. Inside, the History Club’s gleaming hardwood floors, fresh white walls and unusual peaked, buttressed ceiling provide the perfect backdrop for any type of decorating scheme you desire. At one end of the room is a raised stage with a grand piano; at the other, a floor-to-ceiling window frames a fenced garden lush with lacy Japanese maples and flourishing tree ferns. Dimmable main lights and a variety of stage lighting options help to create that special mood. Along one wall, large windows and French doors look out onto a fenced patio where ceremonies are held. Chock-full of colorful roses and sheltered by mature trees, it’s as cozy and private as any couple could wish. A wooden arbor, covered with climbing roses and wisteria vines, is the preferred spot for exchanging vows. The building’s deep eaves shade part of the patio, outfitted with ceiling fans and heat lamps to make it comfortable no matter what the weather.
